“I’m a working mom. Right now I’m working two part time jobs as well as a side business in my spare time. I did stay home for nearly two years. It was frustrating for me but I’m glad I had that experience when my youngest was a toddler. We’d be able to pay our mortgage if I chose to work less but with my income, there’s money for fun things, gifts, extras, camp, vacations. Working two part time jobs (I’m a social worker) actually works out better salary-wise than a full time job. And I get to get my kids on and off the bus every day. My kids are either with me or their Dad. So we make it work and are there for their sports and activities. Between 4-5 pm is just crazy time when Mom has to run out to Night work.”   -Jen
